Larry Davidson is a former DEA Special Agent with substantial
experience in international and domestic drug and financial crime. He is an expert is crisis and risk management and has
exceptional organizational and human resources management skills.
He has been retained by large national banks to assist
them in their responses to regulatory enforcement actions relative to the Bank Secrecy Act as both investigator and as a quality
control (QC) specialist reviewing completed investigations and SAR documents for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
He
has also been tasked with numerous special internal projects that are highly sensitive in nature and successfully completed
those assignments for bank management. Additionally, he has trained bank personnel in investigative techniques and regulatory
compliance requirements.
His expertise in international drug trafficking is not matched anywhere. He has supervised
and overseen the day-to-day operations of a multi-agency drug task force which included managing and overseeing the dismantling
of numerous drug trafficking organizations and their financial capabilities. His experience includes building and promoting
positive working relations within the state, local and federal law enforcement community as well as at financial institutions.
He is constantly recognized for building partnerships and resolving conflicts.
Additionally Mr. Davidson was recognized
and awarded for writing/directing and reporting quarterly on two Special Field Intelligence Programs (drug transshipment activities
along both Nicaraguan coasts and the Pan American Highway). He was instrumental in the drafting, signing and ratification
of the first-ever Maritime Agreement between the U.S. and Nicaragua. Further he designed, implemented and managed Nicaragua’s
MIU (Mobile Inspection Unit) utilized for vehicle interdiction along the Nicaraguan portion of the Pan American Highway.
Mr.
Davidson has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Masters in Public Administration and has received numerous awards
from DEA, the State Department and the U.S. Attorney.
Mr. Davidson is available to assist as an expert in domestic
and international BSA regulatory issues, international transactions, as well as drug smuggling. He is also fluent in Spanish.
